nticmates: are you shia? just asking

I think people are assuming my religion based on what I’m posting. Well, here it is: my father, may he rest in peace, was Muslim, a member of the sect that believes there is one God, Allah, and Muhammad is his prophet. Take THAT, sectarian lovers! And my mother is Ismaeli shia Call me a Zionist Wahhabi Safavid for all I care. (Yeah, I know that makes no sense.) Ramadan is coming. Share the love and unity.

Lol I thought this was so funny. I used to call myself Sunni because that was the sect that I followed. There’s things that some Shia believe that I’ll never follow, like praying, sorry, “calling out” to Ahl Bayt like Ali, Hussain, and Fatima, peace be upon them, for intercession. The Roman Catholic Church which is filled with shirk also has a similar thing of “calling out” to saints and Mary, mother of Jesus, peace be upon them. There’s things in Shiism I agree with over the Sunni beliefs though, more so to do with the origins, like respect for Ahl Bayt, not viewing Sahabah as perfect, and that Ali, peace be upon him, was the best choice for successor. But modern Shiism is warped a great degree from purely political differences.
I also don’t blindly follow any hadith or school of thought, like some Sunnis want me to. Hadith written/ collected hundreds of years after The Prophet lived, peace be upon him, are not infallible, nor even close. People say to follow the Sunnah, and don’t pick and choose, yet everyone does anyway. Anyone who says logic and reason have no place in Islam, or that we must submit to whatever certain scholars say and cannot think on our own, isn’t someone I will follow.
I’m no longer Sunni, I’m not Shia, I’m not Salafi, I’m not Sufi. I’m just Muslim, meaning I submit to only Allah SWT and believe The Quran is 100% Divine Revelation.
I’m all for learning about the sects and different viewpoints, but I’m against blindly following any sect. I don’t operate like that. Being open-minded is what led me to Islam, and I’ll continue to gain knowledge and wisdom from any person or path, whatever labels we throw on them. My religion is Truth and Reason. My religion is Absolute Monotheism.
All Humans are my family. I want the best for generally all Mankind. Let’s focus less on what divides us, and more on what unites us.

Look at what the former Quilliam Foundation member, Ed Husain, had to say about the female Muslim student who stabbed and killed in the UK - essentially he blamed the Muslim woman for bringing this upon herself by dressing like a Muslim.

Next tweet will include tips on how to whiten your skin and how to stop being so Muzlamic(!)

Stay classy, Ed.

Iran to build Shiite shrine in Homs

After destroying most of Homs, Obama’s new regional BFFs from Tehran are set to convert the remaining Sunni mosques, including venerated historic sites, to Shiite shrines as part of planned ‘demographic changes’ in Syria’s population
#Homs, 18-06-2014: ‘According to private and knowledgeable sources in Homs, Iran with all its potentials and “very strong” influence over Syria, seeks to take over all the mosques, which include tombs and shrines of ( Ahl al-Bayt) , (Prophet Muhammad’s family) including the mosque of “ Jafar al-Tayar’s sons” in Homs, and the areas surrounding it , such as Bab Dreib cemetery where burial had stopped in it for more than twenty years ago .
According to the sources, Iran aims to convert these religious buildings and cemeteries into shrines for the Shiite community, while observers to the Iranian affairs say that the move really aims to strengthen followers of Shiite sect outside Iran in the Syrian society, which Sunni Muslims make up the vast majority of it in comparison with the rest of other religious components.’

What religion, other than Islam, could bring this many people together in unity? No black, no white, no king nor slave…just people, equal under God.

If each one of them just woke up their own struggle to stop their oppression they could change the world…. #TIMEFORFREEDOM

Sometimes non-Muslims are the bravest voices against injustice - our love and respect to our brother Frankie Boyle.

For those Muslims still sitting on the sidelines - are you never going to have the courage to speak up? Now is the time to join the cause for our freedom.

(Mu’ta marriage, temporary)

shia islam=”serving” nasty sex fiends for nearly years

shiaism was designed to serve shia men not god>..

halftheskymovement:

Children in Iraq could be legally married before the age of nine under newly proposed legislation. Known as the Shia law, the legislation introduces new religious restrictions on women and girls. Currently, the legal age for marriage without parental consent is 18, though girls as young as 15 can marry with a guardian’s approval. The draft law also legalizes marital rape."The passage of the Shia law sets the ground for legalised inequality," says women’s rights activist, Basma al-Khateeb.

Law of desire: temporary marriage in Shi’i Iran. (1989). Syracuse University Press: Syracuse: New York.
Author: Shahla Haeri

“It is not permissible to have sexual intercourse with one’s wife that hasn’t reached nine years of age, be it permanent or temporary marriage. But there is no problem with all other pleasures such as lustful touch, embracing, and rubbing again the thighs, even with a suckling infant. If he does have sexual intercourse before nine years of age and does not penetrate, there is no penalty, but he has committed a sin. If he does penetrate causing the vagina and urethra openings to be one, she will become forever haram for him. Although this is as a precautionary measure. And it is more probable that her status as his wife is not removed. And the rulings of inheritance, and the prohibition of a fifth wife or marriage to her sister applies. He is also responsible for her maintenance as long as she is alive, even if he divorces her and even if she marries someone else after his divorcing her as a precautionary measure. And he is liable for blood money for the penetration and the amount is equivalent to that of an individual. If she is a free-woman, the amount is half that of a man, plus the dowry that she became entitled to through the 3aqd and penetration. If he penetrates his wife after the age of nine (causing the same damage as quoted above) , she does not become haram to him and there is no evidence that blood money is liable, but as a precautionary measure, he should maintain her as long as she is alive, although it is more probable that this is not obligatory.”

The courageous and intelligent Maryam Namazie explains .

The clergy support mutah because they take a pimp fee for facilitating this prostitution. It is a major source of some imam’s income. The top dozen ayatollahs hold “khumus” wealth of from $200 million to $2 billion. Basij animals strike break for ayatollah owned companies. They also enforce the Rafsanjani family’s Pistaccio monopoly, and suppress critics of the ayatollah’s worker grinding factories.

Yet BHO refuses to attack the ayatollahs. He begs them to accept lame UN demands, and refuses to admit the absolute futility of his prostrating before the followers of his spouse and child abandoner of a father, who belonged to the same cult as the ayatollahs.

Shiite dajjal scholar: Imam Ali (as) had control over the Jinn, so he made a Jinni to take the shape of his daughter Um Kalthum and he married this jinni to umar

Some People get confused concerning the term of Sunnah

the term Sunnah used in fiqh which refers to a recommended act, like praying two rakaat after prayer ..etc

and the term Sunnah in general which refers to the sayings and actions and confirmations of the Prophet (saw) which is a source of legislation

it’s obligatory on every Muslim to believe and act according to the Sunnah in all aspects of life, and to obey any order from the authentic Sunnah, and not to commit any actions that contradict it.
